Double Up Food Bucks Kansas City provides a dollar-for-dollar match (up to $25) on food purchased with SNAP benefits and SFMNP vouchers toward the purchase of additional fruits and vegetables.
Most markets match up to $25 per week per customer. City Market, matches up to $15 per week per customer.
At participating markets in Kansas, Double Up Food Bucks Kansas City matches up to $25 of SFMNP vouchers.
Participating locations supply wooden or plastic tokens that customers use to make their SNAP purchases. Tokens must be used at the farmers market where they are issued. No change is given on transactions made with SNAP tokens, in accordance with USDA rules. Visit the Market Information Booth for details on how to obtain and use market tokens. Most participating markets accept debit cards for payment. However, purchases made by debit cards or cash are not eligible for the Double Up Food Bucks Kansas City match.
